Darlou S Z is an interesting colt with a pedigree that combines international top-level sport with a performance-oriented dam line.

His sire Darry Lou Z made his mark at the highest level of showjumping. Ridden by Beezie Madden, Nayel Nassar and Harrie Smolders, he achieved success in international 5* competitions and earned more than €1.5 million in prize money. In 2019, he was named USEF International Horse of the Year.

Dam Meltoya S (by Douglas) competed at 1.20m level. Through her, Darlou S Z descends from a successful dam line that has produced several international showjumpers. Great-granddam Latoya (by No Ski xx) produced, among others, three international 1.45m horses and two international 1.40m horses.

With top-level sport on his sire’s side and performance recurring through multiple generations of his dam line, Darlou S Z has a pedigree that offers plenty of potential for the future in showjumping.
