A foal from the dam line of Concorde!

Voltage van 't Veldhof is a striking filly with powerful expression and plenty of presence. She is sired by the international Grand Prix stallion Hardrock Z, who competed at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and is renowned for his scope, canter, and mindset. His offspring are increasingly making their mark — the Hardrock Z daughter Serus S was recently crowned National Champion of the 3-year-old KWPN mares.

Her dam Zalona S (by Cardento) descends directly from the dam line of the legendary stallion Concorde. Her sire Cardento produced numerous Olympic horses and approved stallions. Through damsire Voltaire, carefulness and technique are firmly anchored in this pedigree.

Voltage van 't Veldhof is a curious, energetic, and powerfully built filly whose presence and way of moving make him a highly promising showjumping prospect for the future.

Dam Zalona S is a daughter of the world-renowned Grand Prix stallion and top sire Cardento. This influential stallion has produced countless offspring competing at the highest level, including Olympic horses such as Catch Me Not S and Check Picobello Z. He also sired several approved stallions, including Carrera VDL, Vattson Sitte, Corporal VDL, and Grand Slam VDL, all of whom successfully competed at 1.60m level.

On the dam’s side, Voltaire adds further quality. This legendary stallion is considered one of the founding sires of modern showjumping breeding. His offspring are renowned worldwide for their technique, carefulness, and versatility in the sport.

Zalona S has produced six offspring to date, the first of which, Extra Class (by Excentriek), is successfully competing at 1.35m level with Stephanie Marcieira (BRA).

The granddam, Falona (by Voltaire), holds the Prestatie predicate and produced, among others, the 1.40m showjumper Udo S (by Corland) and the international 1.40m horse Alonsa S (by Cardento), ridden by Davy Gielis (BEL). Alonsa S in turn produced the WSI-approved stallion Don Juan Z (by Dominator 2000 Z) in Ireland.

The great-granddam, Flyer (by Marco Polo), also a Prestatie mare, is none other than the dam of the legendary stallion Concorde!

Sire Hardrock Z is a stallion who not only reached the very top of international sport, but is also making a lasting mark in breeding. Under Venezuelan rider Emanuel Andrade, he competed on the world’s biggest stages — from the World Equestrian Games in Caen to the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. His scope, work ethic, and incredible reflexes made him both a crowd favorite and a consistent competitor at the highest level.

In breeding, Hardrock Z proves that top-level genes are indeed hereditary. Numerous offspring are now jumping at the highest level, including the international 1.60m horse Steely Dan, ridden by Henrik von Eckermann. His progeny also stand out at breed shows: the Hardrock Z daughter Serus S was recently crowned National Champion of the 3-year-old KWPN mares.
