The dam of this foal is the Ster and D-OC mare Ofay Texel. As her name suggests, she descends from the renowned breeding program of Dutch top dressage horse breeder Wim van der Linde. Her sire is the KWPN-approved stallion Ferdinand (by Vivaldi), a stallion known for his golden character who was successfully competed up to Small Tour level. In 2019, he moved to the stables of Diederik van Silfhout with the aim of being trained for the Grand Prix, but was sold that same year to Russia.

The granddam is the Elite, Preferent, IBOP-dressage and PROK-approved mare Fay I Texel (by Jazz). She produced, among others, Ofay Texel, the Ster, provisional Keur and PROK-approved mare Lafayette Texel (by Glock’s Toto Jr.), and the Ster, provisional Keur mare May Fay Texel (by Ferdinand).

The great-granddam is the Elite, Preferent, Prestatie, IBOP-dressage and PROK-approved mare V'Alcatrasse Texel (by Ferro). In addition to Fay I Texel, she also produced:

• the Elite, IBOP-dressage and D-OC mare D'Alcatrasse Texel (by Lingh),

• the Elite, Sport-dressage, IBOP-dressage, PROK-approved mare Golddigger Texel (by Bretton Woods), who competed up to ZZ-Licht (Fourth Level),
