Vayadee is an appealing filly out of the young PROK- and D-OC-certified mare Orchidee, a daughter of the Olympic Grand Prix stallion Indian Rock (by Apache).

The granddam is the Ster, Preferent and Prestatie mare Whitney (by Norway), who earned her predicates thanks to the successful achievements of her offspring.

Sire Sarai L – a black pearl with world-class blood

The black stallion Sarai L was bred by Karsten Bundgaard and Maria Rudbeck, who were named Breeders of the Year in 2022 by the Danish Warmblood Studbook.

His pedigree reads like a showcase of Europe’s leading sires:

sire Secret won silver at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses and is a son of three-time World Champion Sezuan,
grandsire For Romance I has already produced more than 75 licensed sons worldwide and several Grand Prix horses,
great-grandsire Belissimo M is the sire of the legendary Bella Rose (Isabell Werth).

The first crop of foals by Sarai L stands out for type, size, charisma, and a modern rectangular frame. In movement they impress with elasticity, looseness, and remarkable leg technique – qualities that are also clearly visible in Vayadee.

With a sire line full of Grand Prix producers and a dam line rich in sport and predicates, Vayadee has all the credentials to develop into a talent for both sport and breeding.

The dam is the young PROK- and D-OC-certified mare Orchidee, a daughter of the Olympic Grand Prix stallion Indian Rock (by Apache). To date, she has produced two offspring: one by Fürst Samarant (by For Romance) and one by Sarai L (by Secret).

The granddam is the Ster, Preferent, and Prestatie mare Whitney (by Norway).

In addition to Orchidee, she produced several notable sport and breeding mares, including:

the Elite, EPTM-dr., Sport-dr., PROK mare Cirstal (by Painted Black), competing at Z2 level,
the ZZ-Licht classified horse Emanuël (by San Remo),
the KWPN second-round stallion Giant (by Uphill),
the Elite, EPTM-dr., D-OC mare Myra (by Total US),
and the Ster, Sport-dr., PROK mare Khitney (by Expression), also competing at ZZ-Licht level.

The great-granddam is the Ster, Preferent mare Skinny (by Farrington). She also left a strong mark in breeding, producing among others:

the ZZ-Zwaar classified Briljant S (by Olivi),
the Prestatie mare Candida S (by Valdez),
the Ster, provisional Keur mare Jirra (by El Capone),
the KWPN performance test-selected and PROK-approved stallion Illuminati BCN (by Johnson),
and the Ster, IBOP-dr., Z1 classified mare Fabiola (by Ampère).

Sire is the stallion Sarai L – a striking black pearl, bred by Karsten Bundgaard and Maria Rudbeck, who were named Breeders of the Year in 2022 by the Danish Warmblood Association.

Sarai L’s pedigree is composed exclusively of Europe’s leading dressage sires. His sire Secret won the silver medal at the World Championships for five-year-old dressage horses and is a son of the triple World Champion Sezuan. Secret has become a true breeding phenomenon, with nearly 60 licensed sons worldwide. Grandsire For Romance I competed at the highest level in dressage and has already sired 75 licensed sons globally. His oldest offspring are only ten years old, yet three are already competing at Grand Prix level, alongside an extensive list of Small Tour horses.

In the third generation appears the Grand Prix stallion Belissimo M, sire of 66 licensed sons and more than 30 Grand Prix dressage horses. Among them is the legendary Bella Rose ridden by Isabell Werth, winner of multiple Olympic medals and an astonishing 32 Grand Prix victories. In the fourth generation we find the Thoroughbred Cannon Row xx, who brings toughness, refinement, and an elegant exterior, as well as proven performance genes. He is also the great-grandsire of the influential sire Easy Game.

The damline is rich in sport results. Granddam Beyonce L produced Decora L (by Hesselhoj Donkey Boy), reserve champion as a four-year-old at the Danish National Championships. Great-granddam Classica L (by Canon Row xx) produced several international dressage horses, including Manley L and Winston L, both successful at Inter I level. Further back, Kiri L (by Kawango) is the granddam of the renowned stallion Hesselhoj Donkey Boy, who competes at the very highest level with scores above 80% and already has seven licensed sons to his name.

Sarai L is a stallion with a valuable pedigree and proven breeding potential. His first foal crop stands out for type, size, a well-proportioned rectangular frame, and plenty of presence. In movement, they all show suppleness and an expressive use of the legs.
