Veronacara is an eye-catching filly with presence, moving with scope and suppleness. Her sire Escaneno ranks among the most promising young stallions of today. In 2024, he was named reserve champion at the Bundeschampionat, and in early 2025 he received one of Germany’s most prestigious honors: the Weltmeyer Prize, awarded by the Hanoverian Verband to young stallions with outstanding sport performances and breeding value.

Dam Navinacara (by Incognito) descends from the well-known Lady-Cara line, which has produced numerous successful sport horses and approved stallions. This line includes the Grand Prix horse U-Caro (by Welt Hit II), successfully competed by Nars Gottmer (NED), as well as the KWPN Keur stallion Krack C.

The dam is the PROK- and D-OC-certified mare Navinacara, descending from the renowned Lady-Cara line. This line has already produced numerous successful sport horses and approved stallions, including the Keur stallion Krack C.

Navinacara’s sire is the KWPN stallion Incognito (Davino V.O.D. x Vivaldi), a stallion renowned for his elegance, light-footedness, and exceptional rideability. During his performance test in 2016, he scored 83.5 points, including a 9 for rideability. Under Hans Peter Minderhoud, he successfully competed at Small Tour level, achieving scores of over 76%. A highlight was his impressive Freestyle to Music at the KWPN Stallion Show 2023, where he was named reserve champion of the VHO Trophy.

Granddam Helmacara (Ster, PROK, by Briljant) produced, in addition to Navinacara, the Ster, PROK, D-OC mare Omaracara (by Just Wimphof) and the Ster mare Sarahcara Altena (by Incognito).

Great-granddam Larissacara (Keur, Preferent, by Havidoff) scored 8s for walk and canter, and an 8.5 for her suitability as a dressage horse during her IBOP test. She produced, among others, the Elite, PROK mare Triancacara (by Lancet). She earned her Prestatie predicate thanks to several successful offspring, including Darissacara (by Dreamcatcher) and A (by Weltino), both competing at Z1 level, the Z2-classified horse Zodiak (by San Remo), and the ZZ-Licht horse Ramano (by Lancet).

This damline also produced the Grand Prix horse U-Caro (by Welt Hit II), successfully competed by Nars Gottmer (NED).

Sire is the Westphalian premium stallion Escaneno – a modern, well-balanced stallion who excels both in sport and breeding. With his appealing conformation, powerful hind leg, and exceptional rideability, he is a sought-after choice for breeders aiming to combine athletic talent with quality.

Sport Achievements

Escaneno consistently achieved top scores between 8.97 and 9.09 in his performance tests and sport trials, standing out in particular for his rideability and willingness to work. In 2024, he was Reserve Champion at the Bundeschampionat, earning high marks for trot, walk, and overall impression. Early in 2025, he was awarded the prestigious Weltmeyer Prize during the “Privately Owned Stallion Show” in Verden, recognizing his outstanding performances and potential as a sport horse.

Strong Pedigree

His sire, Escamillo, is Vice World Champion among six-year-old dressage horses and was licensed as a premium stallion. On the dam’s side, Escaneno carries the blood of Veneno and granddam St.Pr.St. Reine Freude from the famous Jucking line, which has produced, among others, the Grand Prix stallion Fidertanz, Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2021.

Promising in Breeding

His first foal crop in 2023 made an immediate impression, achieving high prices at auctions in Westphalia and Rhineland—a success that continued in 2024. With his proven performances, strong genetics, and eye-catching offspring, Escaneno ranks among the most promising young stallions of the moment.

Weltmeyer Prize 2025: Early in 2025, Escaneno was honored by the Hanoverian Verband with the coveted Weltmeyer Prize, a prestigious award for young stallions with exceptional sport test results. He shared this accolade with stallion Global Hope, during a ceremony before a large audience in Verden.
