Sire is the stallion For Treasure (For Pleasure x Carthago), a son of two stallions who have left a significant mark on international showjumping. His sire For Pleasure won Olympic team gold with both Lars Nieberg and Marcus Ehning and became one of the most influential sires in showjumping. Grandsire Carthago competed at two Olympic Games. Further back, the pedigree features the influential stallions Ramiro, Jasper and the Thoroughbred Lucky Boy xx.

International showjumping performance is also prominent on the dam’s side. Dam Carthana Z produced, among others, the international 1.55m showjumper Engelien and Kartana 3, who competed at 1.45m level. Great-granddam Graniet produced three international showjumpers.

Performance

For Treasure impressed at the Oldenburg Stallion Licensing with his scope, jumping technique and overview, earning the title of Reserve Champion (Reservesieger). Two years later, he was honoured in Vechta as Hauptprämiensieger.

During his performance test in Adelheidsdorf, he achieved an overall score of 9.3 for jumping, including the maximum score of 10 for his jumping ability. He also received a 10 for free jumping, as well as a 9 for character, an 8.5 for walk and an 8 for canter.

Offspring

The first offspring of For Treasure are now making their mark in international young horse classes. Fortender FZ became Italian Champion as a four-year-old and won several classes as a five-year-old in Busto Arsizio, Ornago and Arezzo.

Other notable offspring include Campari, winner of a five-year-old class in Poznan; Fils d’Amour, a premium stallion with the Hanoverian Verband and winner of several five-year-old classes; and Finita, winner of a five-year-old class in Oliva.

His offspring have also attracted attention at inspections. Razarah VD was awarded provisionally Keur and received 85 points for both scope and technique, while Syan Toltien fan e Five achieved 85 points for free jumping.

With For Pleasure and Carthago directly in his pedigree, excellent scores for his own jumping ability and a first generation of offspring already standing out in both sport and inspections, For Treasure is clearly passing on his jumping qualities.
