Sire Escanto PS delivered a magnificent first crop of foals!

He is the Bundeschampion! State champion! Two-time record performance champion! Hauptprämien champion!

Escanto PS trotted and cantered in Warendorf under his rider Brandi Roenick to the championship title in the Bundeschampionat for four-year-old stallions – with a magnificent performance or, as jury Carsten Munk formulated it at the beginning of his commentary: “Escanto PS delivered today!”

The jury awarded a 10 for the “very, very expressive trot with good release, clearly light-footed, with an absolutely positive contact and optimum balance also in all turns”.

The jury also awarded the dream score for the canter and the rideability. The test rider would have preferred not to dismount, Munk reported amidst applause from the audience. Together with an 8.5 for type and exterior as well as an 8.0 for the walk, it gave a 9.3 for the reigning Oldenburg State Champion (9.2) and two-time record performance champion (9.43 and 9.12), who left the strong competition behind. The first foal year exceeded even the highest expectations with numerous inspection champions, auction highlights and finalists during the German foal championship.

With his daughter Elegance, Escanto PS produced the 31,000 Euro price topper of the Oldenburg “special edition” auction. His sire Escamillo won the silver and bronze medal in 2021 and 2022 at the world championships for six- and seven-year-olds and was in the final of the Nürnberger-Burg-Pokal. The number of approved sons reaches almost 40, including Expectation PS, Extreme U.S., Elocin and Birkhof’s Esperanto. His dam Fairytale PS, in addition to Escanto PS, also produced the approved stallion Fair Deal, who won the Moritzburger Championat in 2021, 2022 and 2023 and won bronze at the Oldenburger Landeschampionat and the Oldenburger Hauptprämienkeuring. Fairytale PS is a full sister of the approved stallion Fürst Toto and half-sister of Donier.
