Wiesje of Happiness is a charming and eye-catching filly by the two-time World Champion of Young Dressage Horses, Red Viper.

Wiesje already has a good size and stands out with her elegant front, active attitude and light-footed way of moving. In addition, she is a curious, people-oriented and self-confident filly that approaches the world with an open and attentive outlook. Her estimated mature height is approximately 1.70 metres (16.3 hh).

Her dam, the Ster, IBOP-dressage, D-OC mare Oh So Happy (by Ferguson x Bretton Woods), is already proving her value as a broodmare. She produced the Elite, EPTM-dressage, D-OC mare The Joy of Happiness (by Jovian), who earned the Elite predicate as a three-year-old and impressed during her EPTM mare performance test with no fewer than four scores of 8.0 for, among other qualities, her canter, suppleness, posture and balance, as well as her talent as a dressage horse.

Further down this distinguished German dam line, we find numerous proven sport horses and approved stallions. Through the German Staatsprämie mare Bella Bravissima, the family has produced, among others, the PSG/Inter I stallions Bravissimo and Tiesto VDL, as well as several horses competing at PSG, Inter I and Grand Prix level. As a result, Wiesje descends from a family in which athletic talent and quality have been passed on from generation to generation.

A filly with presence, a wonderful character and a dam line that continues to prove its value.

The dam is the young Ster, IBOP-dressage, D-OC mare Oh So Happy. She achieved a solid score of 75.5 points in her IBOP performance test. Wiesje of Happiness is her second foal. In 2023, Oh So Happy produced the Elite, EPTM-dressage, D-OC mare The Joy of Happiness (by Jovian). During her EPTM mare performance test, she impressed with no fewer than four scores of 8.0 for her canter, suppleness, posture and balance, as well as for her talent as a dressage horse.

The granddam is a Westphalian mare by Bretton Woods. To the best of our knowledge, Oh So Happy is her only offspring.

The third dam is the Staatsprämie mare Bella Bravissima, a daughter of the Grand Prix stallion Belissimo M. Among her offspring is the mare Venice 31 (by Veneno), who competes successfully under the name Vice Versa at German S-level (ZZ-Zwaar / Prix St. Georges).

Further down this distinguished German dam line, through the fourth dam Lady Sinclair (by Lord Sinclair), we find the Westphalian-approved stallions Bravissimo (by Belissimo M) and Tiesto VDL (by Totilas), both successful at PSG/Inter I level. The line has also produced the PSG/Inter I horses Jazz Dance (by Jazz Rubin) and Dante Noir 3 (by Dante Weltino). In addition, several Grand Prix horses descend from this family, including Leroy 160 (by Lord Sinclair), Priboy (by Pit I) and Entutu (by Ehrenpreis NRW).

The sire is the elegant and exceptionally moving Red Viper.
This stallion was crowned World Champion of the five-year-old dressage horses in Ermelo. Under the saddle of Bart Veeze, he impressed with a remarkable score of 93.80 points, including a 9.8 for dressage potential and a 9.7 for canter.

Even before the World Championships, Red Viper made his mark during the performance test in Warendorf, where he achieved the highest score with an average of 8.8, accompanied by glowing remarks from the judges.

Red Viper’s talent is no coincidence. He is a son of Grand Prix stallion Romanov Blue Hors and out of the exceptional mare Zolena (Sir Sinclair x Cabochon). In 2008, Zolena was named best mare in the Pavo Cup and went on to become a finalist at the World Championships for young dressage horses in 2009 and 2010. She is also the dam of NMK mare My Lena, who placed sixth in the Pavo Cup.

At the foundation of Red Viper’s dam line stands the renowned mare Urona, a proven lineage that produced several approved stallions, including High Five U.S., Knock Out, and Blue Hors First Choice.
