Wonderful – light-footed, uphill and a temperament to love
Wonderful is a friendly and exceptionally pleasant colt by Everglow Gold out of the young Ster mare Rosy (s. Le Formidable). He is easy to handle, willing to cooperate and immediately catches the eye as soon as he starts to move.
And it is precisely his movement that makes him stand out. Wonderful moves with a light-footed and expressive way of going, showing a remarkably active and powerful hindleg. He consistently moves forward from behind and naturally travels uphill, with ease and natural self-carriage. A way of moving that perfectly complements his appealing dressage pedigree.
His sire Everglow Gold (Escolar x Sir Donnerhall I) was named Premium Stallion and Reserve Champion at the 2025 KWPN Stallion Show and is now KWPN-approved. Through his damline, he also carries the valuable blood of Grand Prix mare Weihegold OLD.
The dressage qualities are equally evident on the dam's side. His dam Rosy (s. Le Formidable) is a young Ster mare with expressive movement, natural self-carriage and an attractive front. Wonderful is her first foal.
Wonderful was born late in the season and therefore still needs a little more time to develop compared with his older peers. As he is also Rosy's first foal, he is attractively priced. A great opportunity for someone looking for a future sport partner with that bit of extra quality in his movement.
A friendly colt with remarkable use of the hindleg, a light-footed way of moving and a natural uphill tendency in every stride.
